The flames roar ed in from the east to last night coming into the mountains of the Santa Rosa Creek canyon. The winds were so strong the smoke and flames coming in off the structures were going sideways. Not before more than a dozen homes were lost in this subdivision. The sonoma side. More evacuations are being forced, and homes are being damaged and destroyed on the outskirts of santa rosa along highway 12. In the mast hour, we received an update from cal fire, and Sonoma County officials. Again, they say the fire has tripled in size to more than 36,000 acres, and there is still zero containment at this hour. The cal fire said theyre hope of that the winds are dying down. More than 68,000 people have now been evacuated in the path of this fire in Sonoma County. Another 11,000 evacuated in napa county. Crews made a stand to defend homes at Annadel State Park. The fire did make it to oakmont and into annadel early this morning, but there was a valiant firefight by our local firefighters and our cal firefighters here on the east side of santa rosa to save as many hopes as they could, and the statement i heard is theyve saved far more than they lost. We also learned within the last hour from Sonoma County sheriffs officials that a 17 yearold boy has be
