The deputy radioed he found the vehicle and thats the last the Sheriffs Office heard from the 33yearold. When back up arrived, they found the deputy dead. Investigators with several agencies spent the night trying to track down the shooter, 43yearold doug nitek. They caught up to him at his home. He eventually surrendered but not before shooting once at Law Enforcement. No one was hurt. According to Court Documents niteks been in jail several times for a range of crimes. Police say 10yearold andrew was last seen at approximately 3 45 this afternoon running into a large corn field right next to his house. Andrew has been diagnosed with autism and is nonverbal.
