Congo river rapids ride at Busch Gardens closed. Theyre just playing it safe. It seems a bit overcautious. Reporter eagle 8 flew over after hours. Its a popular cooloff spot on hot days and is often used to train First Responders in water issues. The accident happened at dream world in queensland. Two men and two women died on the their mom was trapped under. Reporter rescue workers came upon a gruesome scene with two riders ejected from their raft and two others caught in a conveyor. Busch gardens explained they closed congo river rapids while it worked with other park operators and ridemakers to understand what happened in australia. The statement said all ride are inspected daily. Congo river fans tell me they understand why its closed. Winter haven. We want to go straight to eagle 8 reporter, paul, he has the latest. Let me get right to it. Heres the plane. Its a cessna. And the pilot is okay. I want to point that out first. A couple things you can see from this. Its out in a field. You can see the front part of the wing has damage to it. Were not sure why. And the front wheels are down. And the plane did grind through the ground and the pilot was able to get out wide. Take a look at this. Heres the track of the plane. At some point, the plane had some kind of trouble, made it down on to the field. You can see the path that the wheels took and eventually hit the ground here spinning to the side. The pilot is okay, thats the good news, and now theyre going to try to figure out what exactly happened to this plane to have him land in this field or crash in the feel. Weekend, just a gorgeous friday afternoon for you if you are just getting off of work in brondon, its 82 degrees with winds coming in out of the northnortheast between 5 to 10 miles per hour.
