9: milwaukee police are investigating the homicide of a 4 year old boy. the child was shot inside of a home near 15th and north. that s where fox6 s ashley sears joins us live. police have been on scene for the last few hours. the shooting happened inside a home between north and lloyd. shot and killed. according to police, the gun was fired from inside the home. it s unclear who fired the weapon. in addition to first responders, salvation army chaplains are on scene comforting the victim s family. again, it is unclear who fired the gun. the investigation is on going. ben thanks ash now to our big story at 9: a string of vehicles have been vandalized creek area during the last couple of days. fox6s rachelle baillon joins us now with more on what police think is going on. good evening. police here in south milwaukee say more than 20 cars have been hit by bb guns and paint ball guns..just in the last couple of days. this is not the way anyone wants to start the workday. ....
czarneckis car looked like after it was pelted by a bb gun. her sisters car was parked near hers on the street outside of their oak creek home and was also hit. ..drivers windows both were, my sister and my car were both shattered. she thinks vandals targeted both vehicles around 3 a-m. czarnecki had to miss work on friday to deal with the damage. its just frustrating that you know property is getting ruined and that you have to take time to get your car fixed and pay money and work and all that just to get everything worked out. but czarneckis just one of many recently hit: south milwaukee police tell us theyve had more than 20 similar incidents involving either bb guns or paint ball guns..and thats just since wednesday. they also think its likely the same people are behind the oak creek vandalisms. its not happening in peoples garages its just mainly on the streets it is an easy target for people to hit and ...hit it and be out of shooters are just damaging cars ....
9. we start with breaking news at 9 - a massive search is underway in waukesha for a missing 10-year-old boy. law enforcement residents and volunteers are all out trying to find this child last seen in a corn field. fox6 s jenna sachs is live on the scene. jenna? waukesha police say around 3:45 this afternoon a 10 year old boy disappeared neighbors tell me the fox river runs through it so that is a concern as well. this is the boy they are looking for. he is andrew ounkham he was last seen wearing a blue on the autism spectrum and is non verbal since his disappearance first responders have been searching the area extensively using k-9s a drone a fire engine ladder and heat sensing technology. they hope to get a helicopter in the air as well. hundreds of neighbors have come out to help and about an hour ago police gathered them and asked that they search their neighborhood with flashlights and leave the cornfield to them. people quickly started searching around hou ....
