Harrisburg, PA - Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Acting Secretary Noe Ortega congratulated 200 Pennsylvania students today for earning a high school diploma or high school equivalency credential during the virtual 2021 Migrant Education Graduation Ceremony.
“I am grateful for the Pennsylvania Migrant Education Program, which breaks down barriers and supports our students as they navigate their academic journey while ensuring they receive the same world-class educational opportunities available to their non-migratory peers,” said Acting Secretary of Education Noe Ortega. “I want to thank and congratulate the Class of 2021 they have worked incredibly hard and never gave up. Harrisburg, PA - Continuing the commitment to STEM education and career advancement, Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Acting Secretary Noe Ortega participated in the Remake Learning Days Across America (RLDAA) Festival, designed to provide students in kindergarten through high school with learning experiences to build their employability skills and prepare them for future careers. Over the course of eleven days, more than 600 events will take place in-person and virtually across the commonwealth.
