A court here has acquitted six people accused of rioting, arson and looting at two properties during the 2020 northeast Delhi riots. Additional Sessions Judge Pulastya Pramachala passed the order while hearing a case against Sahil, Dinesh, Tinku, Sandeep, Vikas Kashyap and Sonu, who were accused of being a part of a riotous mob that committed trespass and thefts in a shop in Bhagirathi Vihar during the riots on the intervening night of 24th and 25th February 2020.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered that the four persons, who were acquitted by the Rajasthan High Court in the 2008 Jaipur bomb blasts case, be released if their detention is not required in any.
The Supreme Court on Friday considered a special leave petition filed by some of the victims of the 2008 Jaipur serial bomb blasts challenging the judgment of the Rajasthan High Court which acquitted.
