Near the park and come here often say it is disturbing to learn that the body of a woman was found near this entrance of Golden Gate Park sunday night. San Francisco Police are now investigating this case as a homicide. They say officers arrived at the intersection of 22nd and felton around 7 30. This isnt far from one of the main entrances for outside land which was wrapping up its third night in the park. Officers arrived on scene and a witness told them they found the woman who was unresponsive and so the witness called police. Officers were bringing a canopy to the area last night while they were still on scene, you could hear performers on stage. Music was scheduled to go past 9 00 p. M. Sunday. Residents we talked to say the discover eye calls for more security around the park especially during events like outside lands. Its also why they dont come here after dark and stay off the trail.
