Newport overturned an early Hanover score with a two-run first, then took over with 12 hits. Winning pitcher Tanya Sanchez (five strikeouts, one walk, two HBP) helped herself with a walk, single, double, triple, three RBIs and four runs scored. “I actually feel pretty good,” Newport coach Sam McNeel said. “Tanya’s doing extremely well on the mound for us.
