one student was killed at the flagstaff campus. three others were shot and they are in the hospital. we do not know how they are doing. what we ve learned is that the shooting happened in a parking outside of a greek life dorm at 1:20 their time. campus police say the shooter is a student. two separate student groups got into a confrontation. the confrontation turned physical. one of our students, steven jones, 18, produced a handgun and shot four of our other students. the student who died has not yet been named. jones was taken into custody right after the shooting. right now president obama is on a plane to roseburg, oregon. he left joint base andrews more than an hour ago. he will meet privately with the victims families of those killed in the umpqua shooting. president obama is seriously considering executive action that would put stricter background checks in place for gun buyers. tracking light rain impacting the baltimore area. a few sprinkles in montgomery co
