(File photo) MANILA - An additional 2,182 patients have recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), pushing the country's overall tally of recovered cases to 2,761,617 on Tuesday. In its 4 p.m. case bulletin, the Department of Health (DOH) said the figures represent 97.7 percent of the total of 2,827,820 confirmed infections nationwide since last year. The agency also reported 1,153 new confirmed cases, bringing the total active case tally to 18,721 lower than Monday's 19,798. Another 195 new deaths, meanwhile, brought its toll to 47,482. The DOH said about 55.2 percent of the active cases are mild, 4.7 percent are asymptomatic, 13.8 percent are severe, 20.51 percent are moderate, and 5.8 percent are in critical condition.
