Rahul Gandhi had to vacate his official residence of 12 Tughlaq Lane after he was disqualified as a Member of Parliament (MP) earlier this year. But, after his disqualification was revoked by the Supreme Court on August 4, Rhaul was allotted the same residence. The Estate Office had asked Rahul Gandhi to reply within eight days if he wanted the same house or not. However, Rahul Gandhi has seen one more bungalow in the national capital.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has been re-allotted the government bungalow in Delhi a day after he was reinstated as a parliamentarian after the Supreme Court put a stay on his conviction in the 2019 "Modi surname" defamation case.

Disqualified from parliament after a two-year defamation sentence which a Surat court refused to stay, Gandhi has reportedly already vacated the 12, Tughlaq Lane address – his official residence until now.
