Firefly Music Festival announces return Firefly Music Festival will return starting Sept. 23 at The Woodlands in Dover. Organizers have not announced artists or ticket information at this time. RYAN MAVITY PHOTO Ryan Mavity April 1, 2021 Firefly Music Festival will make its return to the Woodlands in Dover from Thursday to Sunday, Sept. 23 to 26. Details on tickets and artists have not been announced. The festival was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Not much was known about the festival’s future until late March when the fireflyfestival.com website was updated to announce the return of the event this fall.  Nick Trentacost, director of marketing for the Great Lakes region of Firefly owner AEG Presents, said at this time, the company can only share the event dates. He said more information will be forthcoming on the festival website.

Georgia s family, who believe the dog was a Staffordshire Bull Terrier crossed with a Pitbull, have contacted police who are investigating. And the college student s furious mum Cheryl Wilson believes the same dog may be linked to other recent attacks in Grimsby, Lincs. Speaking with the police, they re looking into it being the same dog causing all the trouble in the area, as well as looking at CCTV on the shop nearby to see if they can get a good look at it, the 43-year-old said.

When multiple generations come together to share their art, it gives a powerful voice to both younger and longtime artists, and builds a sense of community. This is the premise of CommUnity, Connecting Generations Through Art, a CAMP Rehoboth exhibit featuring artistic voices that span generations. It includes works by artists 55 and older, and the creations of student artists from area schools. The exhibition is on display at CAMP Rehoboth through Wednesday, March 31.
