Sheridan Hospital Healthcare Workers Acceptance of Vaccine Is Impressive | Big Horn Mountain Radio Network

photo courtesy of evaluate.com Healthcare workers across the nation have been lukewarm in their interest to receive the available COVID-19 vaccinations. Those healthcare professionals were at the forefront of the national, state, and local priority lists to receive the vaccines when they became available in January. However, only slightly more than 50% of nurses, aides, and physicians have been inoculated with either the Pfiser or the Moderna vaccines. In Sheridan, willingness to receive the vaccine has been surprisingly positive compared to the national hesitancy, according to Sheridan Memorial Hospital’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. John Addlesperger… Hospital CEO Mike McCafferty also reported that the percentage of medical staff receiving the vaccine was around 87%.

Johnson County Healthcare Center Continues to Use Moderna Vaccine | | Big Horn Mountain Radio Network

Johnson County Healthcare Center will continue to administer the Moderna vaccine according to CEO Sean McCallister… at least in the foreseeable future…  McCallister would be satisfied with either vaccine as both are believed to be about 95% effective in fighting the COVID-19. Last week, it was announced that approximately 5% of Johnson County residents have been vaccinated, so when will the vaccines begin to win the fight against the pandemic? McCallister believes it will take some time…
