(TNN) - On Thursday Oklahoma reports 1,677 new COVID-19 cases and 48 deaths from the virus statewide. One of those deaths was reported in Comanche County, one was reported in Stephens County, and one death was in Beckham County. There were no additional deaths in other Southwest Oklahoma counties reported Thursday. 232 of the new confirmed cases reported were in Southwest Oklahoma. Comanche County reported 145 new cases, Beckham County had 44 cases, Caddo County reported 13, and Stephens County reported 52 new cases.

Elk City Woman Hospitalized After Mishap in Washita Co

By News Director Jared Atha An Elk City man was hospitalized after being involved in a one vehicle accident late Saturday night in Washita County. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 34-year-old Holland Fleming was northbound on State Highway 44, a half mile north of Burns Flat, when he lost control of his 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis while trying to avoid hitting a deer. OHP says the car departed the roadway to the left and struck a dirt embankment, eventually coming to rest in the bottom of a 10-foot ditch. Fleming was transported to AllianceHealth Clinton where he was admitted with leg, foot, and head injuries. He was last listed to be in stable condition.

(TNN) - On Tuesday Oklahoma reports 1,070 new COVID-19 cases and 53 deaths from the virus statewide. One of those deaths was reported in Comanche County. One death was in Jackson County and one was in Greer County. There were no additional deaths in other Southwest Oklahoma counties reported Tuesday. 77 of the new confirmed cases reported were in Southwest Oklahoma. Comanche County reported 63 new cases.

There have been five deaths reported in Comanche County between Friday and Monday. Caddo and Jackson Counties reported one death each, Stephens, Beckham, and Greer Counties reported two deaths each. There were no additional deaths in other Southwest Oklahoma counties reported since Friday.

(TNN) - On Wednesday Oklahoma reports 2,119 new COVID-19 cases and 52 additional deaths from the virus statewide. Two of those deaths were from Comanche County and one death was reported in Washita County. There have been no additional deaths in other Southwest Oklahoma counties reported Wednesday. 224 of the new confirmed cases were reported in Southwest Oklahoma. Comanche County reported 167 new cases, Caddo and Beckham counties reported 18 each, and Jackson County reported 11 new cases.
