Oklahoma health officials reported 52 new deaths due to the coronavirus on Wednesday. Officials note that 20 of the deaths occurred between January 4 and January 27, while the 32 others happened in the past week. 3,654 Oklahomans have died due to the virus since March 2020. Today s reported deaths are as follows:
Seven in Tulsa County, one female in the 36-49 age group, one female in the 65 or older age group, one male in the 50-64 age group, four males in the 65 or older age group.
Six in Oklahoma County, one female in the 36-49 age group, three females in the 65 or older age group, one male in the 50-64 age group, one male in the 65 or older age group.
2,119 New COVID-19 Cases, 52 More Virus-Related Deaths Reported In State, OSDH Says
Fifty-two more virus-related deaths and 2,119 new coronavirus cases were reported in the state since Tuesday, according to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
A total of 394,283 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and the total number of virus-related deaths increased to 3,654, the state health department said on Wednesday.
The seven-day rolling average for new cases reported was 2,168, the state health department said.
As of Friday, 373,279 total vaccine doses have been administered and 511,350 total doses have been received by the state. More than 58,200 Oklahomans have completed both inoculations.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (TNN) - On Thursday Oklahoma reports 2,320 new COVID-19 cases and 35 additional deaths from the virus statewide.
Two of those deaths were from Caddo County and one death was in Stephens County. There were no additional deaths in other Southwest Oklahoma counties reported Thursday.
Some Southwest Oklahoma counties are reporting an increase in confirmed cases, though. Comanche County reported 101 new cases, Stephens county reported 35 new cases, Caddo county reported 17.
