Franklin County Fair brings sense of normalcy for fairgoers, food vendors
The smell of funnel cakes, sounds of kids screaming on the Zipper, and members of 4-H clubs showing off their animals could only mean one thing: Fair season was back in Franklin County.
The Franklin County Fair was in full swing in Hilliard Thursday, as young and old enjoyed a picturesque summer afternoon at the fairgrounds.
The 2021 fair signals a step towards normalcy for many during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The week-long event, which runs through Sunday, was closed to the public last year, with the exception being junior fair exhibitors and their family members.
