Jammu Division to get additional 1325 Oxygen support beds within Five Days
Jammu, May 06 (Scoop News)- Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha today directed for increasing the additional 1325 bed capacity with oxygen support in Jammu Division within five days which will complement the Governmentâs efforts for strengthening and improving the health infrastructure, especially the Covid-19 treatment facilities in the region.
The Lt Governor was chairing a meeting to review the evolving Covid situation and containment measures taken thereof, in which, Senior Doctors, Health officials, Chief Medical Officers and Deputy Commissioners of Jammu Division participated, in person and through virtual mode.

Srinagar: In order to further strengthen Covid-19 facilities, Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha on Wednesday directed the Senior Doctors, Health Officials and CMOs to increase additional 1050 oxygen beds in Kashmir division to ensure immediate treatment for the people requiring hospitalization.
The Lt Governor directed that increased bed capacity with oxygen should be ready within a week. It will substantially improve the health infrastructure and help out patients in the hour of crisis, he added.
The Lt Governor was chairing a series of meetings with senior Doctors and Chief Medical Officers of Kashmir Division here at Civil Secretariat, in which he reviewed the Covid-19 situation and containment measures put in place to effectively control the spread of Corona virus.
