The countyâs COVID-19 call center will operate 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays at 540-422-0111. In addition to registration assistance, the call center is available to answer questions citizens may have regarding where to find additional information on the vaccine or vaccination process. County Administrator Paul McCulla Fauquier County has opened a COVID-19 call center to help local residents register for the vaccine.
The center can help people without computer access or who have trouble completing the appropriate survey on the Rappahannock Rapidan Health District website, County Administrator Paul McCulla said.

Remington
Those of us who love historic Remington question the recent appearance of a garish animated sign on our Main Street.
The electronic message center (EMC) sign flashes four different messages each minute:
⢠Please Wear Your Mask!
⢠Stay Six Feet Apart!
⢠Town Hall Closed 2/15 Happy Presidentâs Day
⢠Water Account Past Due to Covid? Please call 540-439-2363.
These same messages may be found in the Town newsletter issued monthly with the water bill.
We have these questions:
⢠What is the need for this sign, and how does it enhance the lives of residents and visitors?

The hospital and Piedmont will use the VDH database to contact and set appointments for those who have completed surveys on the health department website.

Staff Journalist Fauquierâs board of supervisors Thursday night honored its Citizens of the Year â one from each the countyâs five magisterial districts.
The ceremony normally takes place in the first-floor meeting room of the Warren Green Building in Warrenton.
But because of COVID-19, the board last month agreed to conduct its December meeting at a larger venue to accommodate award recipients and their guests. The 24-minute presentation occurred at the Fauquier High School auditorium in Warrenton.
