The VKL Group in Bahrain has come to the forefront to help India overcome its current Covid-19 crisis. The VKL Group, led by Pravasi Bharatiya Samman winner and prominent Bahrain-based businessman Dr Varghese Kurian, has purchased Rs7.5 million (BD38,500)worth of oxygen cylinders and accessories from Cryogas Equipment Pvt Ltd, headquartered in Baroda, Gujarat.
This is part of VKL Group’s several humanitarian and charity activities done in India and Bahrain especially during the pandemic. The VKL Group was also the first to set up a quarantine facility for Covid-19 victims in Bahrain.
