HEBRON, Ky. (FOX19) - A Northern Kentucky mother is upset after her child fell asleep on a school bus and was taken back to the bus lot.
Five-year-old Zaylee Estvanko of Hebron sounded the alarm on what her mom says is an alarming situation.
“Nine o’clock Monday night, Zaylee climbs up with me and dad and said, ‘Yea I popped my head over the seat and the bus driver said what are you doing here?’ And I said, what are you talking about?” said Zaylee’s mother, Christina Estvanko.

A group opposed to a peat moss mining project south of La Ronge hopes to raise awareness through an online speaker series starting this week. A Hempfield Area elementary school is closed temporarily after two students tested positive for covid-19, district leaders announced this week.
West Point Elementary School was closed Wednesday. Students will receive remote instruction until the school reopens Monday.
According to a letter from Superintendent Tammy Wolicki, the school is closed for three days due to new guidance released by the state’s Department of Education last month, which states a school’s closure cannot be less than the recommended number of days if served by the state’s health department.
