A Bell County judge found a Killeen man guilty this week and sentenced him to years of probation after the man shot another man in the foot earlier this year.

Possession of a controlled substance was reported at 12:36 a.m. Monday in the vicinity of Attas Avenue and North 16th Street.
Discharge of a firearm in certain municipalities was reported at 2 a.m. Monday in the vicinity of Greengate Drive and North Roy Reynolds Drive.
Burglary of a building with no forced entry was reported at 8 a.m. Monday in the 3600 block of East Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
Deadly conduct discharge of a firearm towards a habitation, building or person was reported at 8 a.m. Monday in the 5100 block of Bridle Drive.
Forged prescription/dangerous drugs was reported at 8 a.m. Monday in the 3800 block of Clear Creek Road.

Blues legend Terry Butcher believes Town have a foundation on which they can build a side which can compete next season after missing out on the play-offs by one place and five points in 2015/16.
Butcher, 57, believes the Blues suffered from losing the likes of David McGoldrick, Teddy Bishop and Ryan Fraser to injury for lon spells and says it’s players of their ilk that manager Mick McCarthy needs to add this summer.
“They’ve been up and down and it’s been difficult this year,” the former England centre-half reflected on the season just gone. “The injuries to key personnel have been a major factor.
