Mumbai: Day after 10 infants were killed in the Bhandara hospital fire tragedy, it is being learnt that the government-run Bhandara District General Hospital has been operating without a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the fire department, reports said on Tuesday.
In a tragic incident, 10 infants were killed and another seven were saved after a fire brke out at a neo-natal care ward of the state-run hospital at Bhandara in eastern Maharashtra on January 9, 2021.
Markets and other commercial establishments in most parts of Bhandara remained closed on Monday in response to a bandh called the BJP to express anguish over the death of 10 infants in a fire at the district hospital.
