People are still lining up outside some of the major supermarkets in Suva and Nasinu today.
Some people have contacted us and have sent us photos of them lining outside MH Superfresh from 7.30 this morning.
People are also standing in long lines at Shop N Save in Nabua and Lami and RB Centrepoint.

People are still lining up outside the major supermarkets in Nasinu however there were no long lines outside supermarkets in Suva today.
Fijivillage visited the Rajendra’s, Shop N Save, and Max Value Supermarkets in Valelevu where people were standing in long lines which extended all the way to the footpath.
They are lining up outside these supermarkets because Extra Supermarket in Flagstaff, Hanson’s and Shop N Save Supermarkets, and nearby shops in Makoi were closed off yesterday. ....

As discussions continue regarding what steps will be taken in relation to the COVID-19 cases in the country, a number of people resorted to panic buying from this morning.
Legend FM News witnessed people standing in long lines outside the major supermarkets in Suva, Nasinu, Nausori and Navua today.
The line outside Newworld IGA Supermarket in Damodar City extended to the footpath outside the complex.
This was also witnessed at Shop N Save supermarkets in Valelevu, Nabua and Rups Mega Complex in Nakasi as well. ....

Four have been treated and sent home while a 41-year-old cashier and the 65-year-old driver are still admitted at the CWM Hospital with serious injuries after the driver reversed the car into CJS Supermarket in Nabua on Friday night.
The five people were all working when the incident occurred.
Police say the 65-year-old driver of the vehicle accidentally reversed into the supermarket after doing his shopping. ....
