Three people who were found gambling at the Laqere market are among the 63 arrests made in the last 24 hours concerning breaches of health restrictions and curfew orders.
Fiji’s Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu said the three were aged 18, 19, and 21 years old, respectively.
He said 57 cases were recorded in the Southern Division where six people were arrested for drinking grog at Wailea settlement in Vatuwaqa, seven were found drinking alcohol at Vesida and breached the health restrictions
A 41-year-old fisherman was found loitering along the Sukanaivalu road in Nabua. ....

Some people were injured while the supermarket suffered damages.
Police say an accident report was lodged at Nabua Police Station.

Two people are still admitted at the CWM Hospital this morning with serious injuries after a car reversed into CJS Supermarket in Nabua last night.
Three others have been released from the hospital.
They were all working when the incident occurred.
Police say the 65-year-old driver of the vehicle accidentally reversed into the supermarket after doing his shopping.
The supermarket suffered damages.

A 15-year-old boy from Nabitu in Sigatoka was arrested after he crossed the Nadi containment area using a short-cut on horseback while a 58-year-old taxi driver was found carrying four passengers and breached the 50 percent capacity in the process.
63 people have been arrested in the last 24 hours for breaching health restrictions and curfew orders.
