HUB-Robeson Galleries receives National Endowment for the Arts grant

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. Penn State s HUB-Robeson Galleries has received a $25,000 Grants for Arts Projects award from the National Endowment for the Arts to support a performance celebrating inclusivity in Central Pennysylvania, titled Rosemarie Fiore: Smoke Painting Performance, by artist Rosemarie Fiore.
The award will bring Fiore to the University Park campus for an outdoor smoke-painting performance in fall 2021. The 3-hour performance will result in three large-scale murals which will be displayed in the HUB-Robeson Cultural Center for two years. A solo exhibition

One of these Soldiers is Sgt. 1st Class Tabitha King, an automated logistical specialist with the 404th Army Field Support Brigade. According to the Army Quartermaster Corps, the goal of the Training with Industry Program “was to create a group of Soldiers who were experienced in higher level managerial techniques and could understand the relationship of their industry as it relates to the functions of specific Army branches.” Command Sgt. Major Kendra St. Helen, the 404th AFSB CSM, was not surprised to hear King had been awarded such a prestigious position.

One person was sent to the hospital after a collision involving a school bus and a pickup on the southwest side of Indianapolis Wednesday morning, according to police.
The crash occurred shortly before 7:30 a.m. in the 3000 block of South High School Road near the Indianapolis International Airport, when a Mooresville school bus carrying high school students collided with the pickup, police and school officials said.
The driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital, where the person was listed in stable condition, according to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Lt. Shane Foley. No one on the school bus was injured.
