It will be held the week of June 14-18. Several local law enforcement agencies have partnered to put on the program at no cost to the community: Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, Union Township Police Department, Pierce Township Police Department, Batavia Village Police Department, and Owensville Village Police Department.

Anthony J. Kilker SHENANDOAH — A New York man who led East Union Township Police on a chase on Nov. 21 waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Anthony J. Kilker. Billy Jon Quirk, 28, of 83 Park St., Centereach, was arrested by police Chief Thomas Rentschler and charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police, trespass by motor vehicle, reckless driving, careless driving, driving at an unsafe speed, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, driving without insurance, driving an unregistered vehicle and receiving stolen property. By waiving his right to a hearing, Quirk will now have to answer to all nine charges in Schuylkill County Court where he can plead guilty or enter a not guilty plea and request a trial.
