On the back of a favourable starting point for housing affordability, property value growth has recently accelerated across Christchurch as well as Waimakariri and Selwyn. A woman who went missing from a small Canterbury town has been found safe and well. Lisa Ford, 42, was reported missing after last being seen in Tai Tapu, about 18 kilometres southwest of Christchurch, early on Tuesday. She was found “safe and well” on Wednesday. A police spokeswoman confirmed Ford was found in the Governors Bay area about 11.15am.
