On Sunday, Aug. 1, The Hop will return to its normal schedule and frequency  but with a sweet twist. The Hop’s schedule will once again be 5 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday; 7 a.m. to midnight on Saturday; and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday, with service every 15 minutes during peak hours and every 20 minutes during off-peak hours and on weekends.  To celebrate this return to normalcy, every Sunday in August, from 4-6 p.m., the streetcar will host “Hop Summer Nights.  Of the two streetcars operating on Sundays, one will offer riders free “hopsicles” from Pete’s Pops and the other, cool jazz from the Don Linke Trio.
