No Time for Drifting

About twice a year, my wife and I fly to Nebraska to visit our family. It usually means changing planes at Chicago Midway. Part of that transition includes a ride on one of the moving walkways.
Have you noticed that once you’re onboard the walkway it’s very easy to disengage from the reality that you’re moving forward? You can just drift along in your own little world, forgetting that things will come to an end sooner than you think.
Before you know it, the speaker barks, “Caution! The moving walkway is ending! Caution! The moving walkway is ending!”

There is something about powerful conservative women that sends chills down my spine. A few of these women, such as Amy Coney Barrett, Candace Owens, and Phyllis Schlafly have been at the forefront of the conservative women’s movement for years. However, it wasn’t until recently that I learned of another inspiring woman who fought against the left’s darkness – Mrs. Judith Reisman.
Judith was born in 1935 to communist parents. As she aged, she believed many of the left’s lies and was a liberal, but not for long. Soon, she became every leftist’s and feminist’s worst nightmare. Reisman stood up and fought a good fight against the pornography empire, and many feared her.

Dear AFA Supporter and Christian Activist,
The influence of the secular Left is so ingrained in our culture that even innocent school children are caught in the crossfire of the fight to expunge Christianity from American public life. Here’s a recent example.
Like thousands of other schools across the nation, when Simpson Central Elementary School resumed in-person classes last fall, students wore face coverings. Some masks included logos of favorite sports teams, various decorative symbols, and even political messages such as “Black Lives Matter.”
But Lydia Booth, a third-grader who wants to be a missionary, wore a mask so objectionable that school officials forced her to remove it. What was the face mask message that caused the outrage as the story became public in February?
