Unlike the dot. The Des Moines Public Works Department thinks pretreating the roads will help. A dozen antiicing trucks hit the roads yesterday. Theyve also altered some of their snow routes to match school bus routes. In hopes it will improve safety for drivers trying to get kids home from school.
