Alberta’s government expects to begin a new session of the legislature next fall after it turns the page on a spring sitting characterized by criticism, controversy and a caucus revolt.
House leader Jason Nixon said Wednesday the sitting will wrap up by Thursday morning, and that the government will likely prorogue, or end, the session in the fall and start fresh with a throne speech.
