On June 12, Indian Head R-C-M-P Constable Shelby Patton pulled over a truck in Wolseley, but during the stop and while out of his vehicle, Patton was allegedly hit by the truck. The vehicle, which was reported stolen from Manitoba, was later found in a field near Francis and two suspects were taken into custody. Forty-two-year-old Marlene Pagee, who faces charges including Manslaughter, has been remanded into custody for her next court date on September 2 in Regina. The other person charged, 41-year-old Alphonse Traverse, also of Winnipeg, will be back in court on August 23.
