New Zealand comedian Urzila Carlson had to abandon her time on The Project on Thursday because she had been in Melbourne during the past week.
The comedian recently performed to a crowd of 9000 people in Australia and had returned home to New Zealand in the last week.
She was one of 5000 people in New Zealand who had returned from Melbourne since May 20 who were asked by the Ministry of Health to head home and self-isolate because of the latest COVID-19 outbreak.
Carlson received a message on her phone from the Ministry of Health stating she needed to return home and get tested immediately while on the show.
