It has been a month of good news for the Marguerita Residence Corporation that is building the apartments, a third of which would be rent-geared-to-income. Following an in-camera meeting last week, the council of the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville decided to loan the non-profit up to $4 million toward the project, providing that Marguerita could provide the proper security for the loan.
