BARRIE, ONT. South Simcoe Police say a woman reported missing for one week has been found. Police issued a plea to the public Friday to help locate a 21-year-old Bradford woman who was last seen at her home in the area of 8th Line and Barrie Street on Sat., June 26. BARRIE, ONT. South Simcoe Police warn residents that if it sounds too good to be true, it likely is after a Bradford man lost money in an investment scam. Police say the man invested with an online cryptocurrency trading company and was promised bonus funds if he deposited more money after creating his account. They say that when he checked his account the next day, it was empty. The company claimed it would help him recover his funds, but said he would have to invest more money and couldn t withdraw any earnings until he made over $100,000 worth of trades.

Bradford man found in good health following massive police search

BARRIE, ONT. A Bradford man who was the subject of a massive search since his disappearance Friday has been found safe near Brantford, police say. Bruce Page was reported missing after leaving his home in the Colborne Street and 8th Line area in Bradford late last week. Police and the 63-year-old man s family grew concerned for his well-being, prompting officers to launch a ground search using a drone and ATVs. Officers urged the public to get involved by searching their properties for the missing man. By around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon, South Simcoe Police reported Page was found in good health by the Ontario Provincial Police outside of Brantford.
