The reveal of the Disney+ trailer focusing on several of the Marvel shows, including
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier miniseries has lead to a bit more information. Originally planned for an August 2020 debut before the pandemic hit and, according to some scuttlebutt, a subplot had to be redone since it involved a bioweapon incident amid a pandemic, the series went from the first TV project to the second after
WandaVision. With that series getting a lot of acclaim, this one is going to go for a follow-up to
Winter Soldier plus a lot of other issues post-
Endgame to deal with as a new trailer has dropped with a lot of new footage and a premiere date of March 18th, 2021 – which means not much of a wait!
During last night’s Superbowl, Marvel released a new trailer for its next big series for Disney+,
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, showing that we can not only expect plenty of action, but some great banter between the show’s title characters.
The first trailer for the series debuted back in December, revealing a tense action-thriller in the vein of the
Captain America films, with a couple of hints at the plot: Baron Helmut Zumo (played by Daniel Brühl) is back after the events of
Captain America: Civil War, in which he was able to get the various members of the Avengers to fight against one another, in revenge for their role in the Battle of Sokovia.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The Academy Award-nominated actor said as much during an interview with
BroBible’s Post-Credit Podcast, where he dished on details for some of Marvel s upcoming projects bound for Disney+.
“That’s some of the fun of the MCU, that we all get to show up in each other’s stories, and there are ways that we’re cross-platforming these characters, and they become storylines, sometimes, in the movies. And then these storylines in the movies become storylines in the shows,” Cheadle explained to

Add Black Panther to the list of mega-hit Marvel movies that are being turned into TV series for Disney+. That ll make 12 Marvel shows coming to the streamer!
No word yet which characters will be included in the series about the Kingdom of Wakanda, but Disney+ is pretty good about casting big name stars from the movies in their series. Wanda Vision starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany debuted on the streaming service a few weeks ago, and Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will reprise their roles as Sam Wilson/Falcon and Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier in The Falcon and Winter Soldier that debuts on March 19th. I m also looking forward to Tom Hiddleston s return as the God of Mischief, Loki, in the series of the same name due this May.
Anthony Mackie has suggested that he has an “unexpected” future within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The 42-year-old actor will reprise his role as Sam Wilson/Falcon in TV series ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’. The show will explore what happened after he was handed Captain America’s shield in the film ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and Mackie has hinted at surprises.
Anthony recalled: “When we finished ‘Endgame’ I had a meeting with Marvel where they laid out the future of my character and how he would fit into the universe, and it was something unexpected.”
Quizzed on whether his character takes on the Captain America mantle from Chris Evans, he added: “At the end of the movie Sam does not accept the shield.
