GRAND BLANC, MI Two victims have come forward alleging they were abused as children by a man caught in a recent sex-trafficking sting by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office GHOST operation.
Tabari Elerson, 46, of Grand Blanc, has been arraigned on seven additional counts of criminal sexual conduct after two women came forward after they saw he was caught during a Genesee Human Oppression Strike Team, or GHOST, operation in April.

Retired police officer says he was victim of Oakland County attorneys’ scam
A retired police officer said three Oakland County attorneys charged with forgery and racketeering tried to bill him for $14,500.
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (FOX 2) - A retired police officer says he was a victim of an alleged scam by three Oakland County attorneys who were charged last week with racketeering, forgery, and embezzling $1 million.
Marc Fishman, Ryan Fishman, and Alexandra Ichim were all charged with multiple felonies including racketeering, forgery, and more last week. According to Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton, the three attorneys forged documents to claim defendants were served paperwork for debts and then use courts to garnish their wages.
âA 69-year-old Bloomfield Township man, his 31-year-old son and a 32-year-old Waterford Township woman have been charged in Genesee County 67th District Court with conducting a criminal enterprise, forgery and obstruction of justice.
âThe three individuals are lawyers with the law firm, Fishman Group, in Bloomfield Hills, with additional offices in Florida and Colorado.
âCharged are Marc Allan Fishman, 69, of Bloomfield Township. He is president and CEO of Fishman Group. He was arraigned April 6 on one count of acquiring and maintaining a criminal enterprise and one count of obstruction of justice. He was lodged at the Genesee County Jail until his arraignment and released April 7 after posting $4,000 cash bond.
Two suspects being investigated after alleged postal worker assault in Flint

FLINT, MI Two suspects are being investigated for the alleged assault of a postal worker at River Village Apartments in Flint yesterday, Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton said.
Flint police said one of the suspects was arrested on April 8. A third person involved in the altercation is not being investigated because they were a “peacemaker,” Leyton said.
No charges have been filed in the case as of Friday afternoon, Leyton said. Two arrest warrants will be filed with the prosecutor’s office today, according to an update from Chief of Police Terence Green. It is still an ongoing investigation with Flint police. The postal employee is in good condition, Flint police said.
