Violent assault of US postal carrier caught on video in Flint
A United States Post Office mail carrier is recovering after an attack in Flint, happening outside an apartment complex near downtown Thursday afternoon.
A bystander livestreamed the melee on Facebook where it went viral. Only one person tried to intervene in an attack on a postal worker in Flint.
FOX 2 is told she’s still pretty sore and has bruises after being jumped and was taken to the emergency room.

FLINT, Michigan (WNEM) Flint Police are investigating an assault involving a United States Postal Service worker.
Two women were caught on camera assaulting the worker in Flint. The video was then posted to social media.
The attack happened outside the River Village Apartments in Flint. Flint Police said the postal employee is in good condition.
In a press release, Flint Police said arrest warrants on two individuals will be presented to the Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office on April 9.
“We have met with the Flint Police detectives. I’ve requested further investigation with respect to this incident. There’s some things that were not included in the report, so they’re going to go back out and get us some additional information, and then we’ll make a charging decision,” Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton said.

FLINT, MI Two suspects are being investigated for the alleged assault of a postal worker at River Village Apartments in Flint yesterday, Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton said.
Flint police said one of the suspects was arrested on April 8. A third person involved in the altercation is not being investigated because they were a “peacemaker,” Leyton said.
No charges have been filed in the case as of Friday afternoon, Leyton said. Two arrest warrants will be filed with the prosecutor’s office today, according to an update from Chief of Police Terence Green. It is still an ongoing investigation with Flint police. The postal employee is in good condition, Flint police said.
