KASSIA’s president, K B Arasappa said that small and medium industrialists are grateful that the government supported MSMEs and announced relief packages for them during the lockdown last year. “The government’s timely action last year, exempting the industries from the lockdown and allowing the sector to operate helped SMEs and kept them motivated during the crisis,” said Arasappa. Unfortunately the pandemic has crippled the functioning of the SMEs again, driving them to worry if there is a solution for them, even after the lockdown
