On Friday, Minnesota transfer Keonte Schad announced his commitment to the Beavers in a decision that could lead to early playing time: The 6-foot-3, 295-pound defensive tackle, originally out of Madison, Wisconsin, played two seasons for the Gophers, highlighted by a 13-game, 20-tackle campaign in 2019.
