Branden Odegaard, 37, Michael Graves, 47, and Macy Kathleen-Grant Pietryga, 26, all of Wolverine Lake, were charged by the Oakland County Prosecutor s Office in connection to the April 26 incident. “I want to be very clear that I have zero tolerance for hate crimes, said Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald said. Hate has no place here in Oakland County, and I will do everything in my power to hold those who attempt to threaten or harm our residents accountable.”

The chase started when police received word that someone in the suspect vehicle had fired a gun at another vehicle traveling behind them. The incident, described in a police report as a case of road rage, occurred at 2:05 p.m. April 12 in the area of Woodward Heights Boulevard and Couzens Avenue. The victims were two Hazel Park men, ages 50 and 29. They were not injured. The shots were allegedly fired in their direction but did not strike them or their vehicle.
