EDGEWOOD, Ky. â Four former health care workers were sentenced to a year in prison after they pleaded guilty to restraining a senior in their care for 15 hours by placing heavy bags on them, Attorney General Daniel Cameron announced Thursday.
The case involved two certified nursing assistants, 28-year-old Ellyssa Klein and 31-year-old Sandra Nobbe, and two registered nurses, 74-year-old Gary Ray and 33-year-old Ashley Flower. All of them worked in the Behavioral Health Unit at St. Elizabeth Edgewood.

A woman called 911 from Brian Womelsdorf’s home in Swatara Township late Friday night in the middle of an argument.
She gave the address in the 600 block of Mohn Street, then dispatchers heard yelling and the line went dead.
Dauphin County dispatchers called back and the woman answered. She said everything was fine and the call abruptly ended again, according to police.
Concerned, dispatchers called back a second time and this time a man answered. He also said everything was fine.
The pipeline provides 45% of the East Coastâs fuel.
The American Petroleum Institute, an advocacy agency based in Washington, D.C., organized a media conference Wednesday to allay consumers fears and inform the public that there is no shortage of gasoline.

âOur industry is closely monitoring the situation,â Frank Macchiarola, API senior vice president of policy, economics and regulatory affairs, said. âWe are seeing a spike in demand for petroleum due to hoarding of petroleum. We encourage consumers not to hoard petroleum. Everyone has a role to play in this situation.â
Macchiarola said the pipeline is expected to be running again this weekend.
