Fourteen UD students, alumni awarded National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships
Fourteen University of Delaware undergraduate and graduate students and alumni have been awarded National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships. An additional three current students and six alumni received honorable mentions.
The highly competitive fellowship, the oldest of its kind in the nation, is among the most prestigious awards for graduate students. It supports outstanding graduate students who are pursuing research-based masterâs or doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) at accredited institutions in the United States.

Two Auburn University students, Che Ka and Grant Wilkinson, have been awarded 2021 National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships, or NSFGRF a fellowship program designed to help ensure the vitality and diversity of the scientific and engineering workforce in the United States.
Each fellowship consists of three years of support accessible over a five-year period. For each year, the NSF provides a stipend of $34,000 to the fellow and a cost-of-education allowance of $12,000 to the degree-granting institution.

Recruit talented students to the voice studio
Teach vocal pedagogy courses
Actively pursue a creative activity agenda that includes significant performances as a concert artist, stage artist, recitalist and clinician
Assist with stage productions as needed
Serve the university in shared governance, recruitment and retention, and curriculum development
Performs other duties as assigned.

· Demonstrated ability as a performer and pedagogue of the highest level in classical and musical theater vocal styles
