2021 Mock Draft
I have been trying my hand at Mock Drafts, using fanspeak s On the Clock 2021 Mock Draft Simulator. Here is my latest effort. I tried to keep this mock as realistic as possible.
As you can see, I did not prioritize QB or WR. I don t believe that one of the five first round quarterbacks will fall to pick 19 - and I just didn t see anyone in the later rounds that I thought could be a franchise quarterback. I think that building the team and then spending draft capital on a QB next year is a better option than sending THREE first round picks + other assets/picks to move up for one of those five quarterbacks this year.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. The Ravens already added a veteran wide receiver by signing free-agent Sammy Watkins.
Baltimore has also been linked to several playmaking wideouts in this year s NFL draft, most notably with Terrace Marshall Jr. (LSU), Rashod Bateman (Minnesota) and Rondale Moore (Purdue).
However, if they don t land one of those players, the Ravens would need to find another playmaker elsewhere.
One player that would be a perfect fit in Baltimore is Washington Football Team wide receiver Cam Sims.

You have to love the mock draft industry. If you performed your job as well as mock drafters do theirs, you would quietly be asked to leave. Meanwhile, Mel Kiper said he would retire if Jimmy Clausen was not a successful QB; Kiper, unlike Clausen, is still going. Being massively wrong simply doesn’t matter. And the further away from the draft a mock draft is, the more outrageous a mock draft can get. Before their final years in college, you can find mock drafts where Matt Barkley, Mason Rudolph, and Jake Fromm were first-round picks, while Joe Burrow, and Carson Wentz, and Daniel Jones weren’t.
