SHO, 9:00 pm ET,
ShoBox: Brandun Lee vs Samuel Teah. Nice little four-fight card from ShoBox which if recent tradition holds will probably be whittled down to three by the time we get there. Lee is one of my favorite “ShoBox Guys” to come down the pike in a while now, and I don’t in any way mean “ShoBox Guys” as an insult. This series has produced a lot of quality fighters, and I think Lee might be someone the power promoters whiffed on, he’s an exciting prospect to watch. Teah’s a good test for him at this stage.

One of arguably the two best light flyweights in the world, WBA “super” champion Hiroto Kyoguchi, will reportedly make his U.S. debut in two months. Both Fernando Barbosa and Asian Boxing report that Kyoguchi will face 20-year-old former minimumweight title challenger Axel Aragon on March 13th as part of the Juan Francisco Estrada-Roman Gonzalez 2 undercard.
Kyoguchi (14-0, 9 KO), out of action since an October 2019 decision over veteran countryman Tetsuya Hisada, was supposed to face another wunderkind in Thanongsak Simsri last November. Unfortunately, Kyoguchi tested positive for COVID shortly after weigh-ins, and Simsri reportedly declined the March 13th date due to travel issues.
