Daily Post Nigeria Published Following the rising cases of kidnapping of school students in some parts of Northwest Nigeria, all boarding secondary schools across Yobe State have been shut down indefinitely. The Yobe State government is said to have ordered the schools’ closure over the fear that Boko Haram insurgents may launch another assault on students in the state. DAILY POST learned that the closure only affects only boarding secondary schools, as all government day secondary schools remained open in the state. Some boarding students who were about taking a commercial bus home in Damaturu told our correspondent that their school management ordered them to vacate the hostels and go home immediately without giving any explanation.
