Meteorologist chris sowers is back with the look at accu weather forecast. Snow is in and out this month has been so funny, i was putting numbers together. We had more days in the 60s then inches of snow in philadelphia. Yes. It has been a bummer trend continues. Yes, receipts get over to the weather center, and show you what is going on here. There is the storm that pulled through. It was just sipping along, racing off to thee at 40 to 50 e answerly that was saving grace because we had no blocking area of High Pressure to the north. Had we had a high up there, what you would normally see this time of the year to slow that storm down some areas quite honestly could have had a foot and a half of snow with this. With that said we had several location that is picked up seven and 8 inches of snow. Well, north and west of philadelphia it shows thaw how both event that little storm was even though it was racing along. Here are your headlines this morning. Sunshine returns today. It will be a gorgeous afternoon. Warm front arrives tomorrow, it arrives with more cloud and rain but once the front pushes through then it will open up the door, opens the door to springlike temperatures again sixtys and zero sevens and one day where high is like 75 degrees in the seven day forecast but along with that comes chance for springlike rain showers as well. Let me run that down in a moment. 35 degrees in philadelphia, dew point of 30. Winds out of the west northwest at 8 miles an hour, little chilly, wind chill of 29 but heres good news almost every location at this point now has jumped above freezing, so whatever ice, frozen slush you are seeing out there in the Lehigh Valley, western counties Lancaster Berks county this will start melting soon. Thirtyfive in philadelphia, dover, millville 34. Cape may and Atlantic City 35. There she goes. That storm that brought the snow, yesterday evening, there was big fat wet flakes, Silver Dollar snow flakes falling at very wrapped pace, accredits delaware and Lehigh Valleys. Heaviest snow fell just like this across southern new england and down into our far western counties. Now again things are clearing out now, we have clear skies all the way across ohio, tennessee valleys and a nice westerly breeze which will get temperature up to 48 today. Call from accu weather mostly sunny, mild, 48 is the forecast ted high and a few left over cloud this morning but wall to wall blue skies later this afternoon by lunchtime 44. By 2 00 he clock 47 and by 4 00 he clock 48 degrees. Overnight tonight several far western suburbs will drop below freezing again so watch for refreeze. Otherwise 34 above freeze ago cross i95 corridor underneath partly cloudy skies, winds light out of the south at three to 6 miles an hour. Running numbers down in the mid to upper 40s lots of sunshine. Overnight tonight partly cloudy, mainly clear give or take. Tomorrow morning we will see clouds increase from the southwest, this is with the warm front springlike warm front. Could be a couple showers by late morning and period of rain during the afternoon but look at the numbers. There is no snow, mixed precipitation we are close to 50 in philadelphia, dover 52. Millville, wildwood, Atlantic City in the 50s and north and west in the mid up toker 40s. Once this front crosses the region then it will feel probably like april or may out there with temperatures in the 60s and 70s. For next 48 hours here watch out for icy patches once again tomorrow morning, so for this morning and tomorrow morning then warm front comes in here with that light rain, shower activity during afternoon on monday, and then monday night, the big concern would be for areas of fog, in the exclusive accu weather seven day forecast once fog dissipates tuesday here we go we are in to it. 70 degrees. Partly cloud which a shower. Seventythree. Thursday cooler. We are still forecasting a high of 58. Friday mostly cloudy, mild, 50 even saturday some rain is possible, lots of cloud and temperatures close to 60. Guys . Chris, thank you so much. Welcome back.
