molder died and his wave was taken to the hospital for gunshot injuries. >> as we learn more about is this shooting investigation, that press conference wrapped up not too long ago and the coroner says the victim was shot five times by two separate weapons. the victim's wife her condition is not known but the suspect locked up in jail facing one counts of homicide and an attempted homicide charge. that is the lastest from here. gray hall, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. now, to a major drug bust six kilograms of heroin found in a pickup truck is off the streets of bucks county. and police seized the drugs and arrested three men during a traffic stop. they released the details saying that the drugs were in a secret compartment in the back of the truck. edward torres is underarrest for this case and police say he was under house arrest for a robbery in camden and two accomplices are facing charges. >> the opioid deaths are through the roof. and overdosed continue to rise, this seizure of this six kilograms of heroin and on one single car stop for illegal tint- >> it's valued at more than $4 million and the dea says they were led to a home in wissinoming where question whether the gunman may have first tried to target other large events. in august he booked hotel rooms in chicago with a view of the lala palooza festival and looked for rooms near fenway park. >> officials confirming he rented a room in this las vegas condo overlooking a music festival a week before the massacre and investigators say that paddock may not have acted alone. >> have you to make an assumption you had to have had some help at some point. his girlfriend, marylou danley is being questioned with the fbi and now an officials say that paddock was seen with a different woman in the months before the attack. and they are looking to find out who she is. and what led to the shooting. among them jesus compose, the security guard approaching his hotel room and paddock shooting investigators that two men forced her into a car and raped her on monday evening. but again police say such a crime never happened. so far there are in charges against her but the investigation is still underway. >> we have new details this afternoon about the deadly crash that snarled traffic for hour as long the schuylkill expressway. state police say that a motorcyclist lost control in the eastbound lanes and he was thrown from the bike and hit by a car. the 41 from newcastlele, delaware was pronounced dead on the scene. that crash happened at 3:00 and was not cleared up until just before 9:00. time now for the "action news" traffic report. >> matt pellman is in traffic center. >> it's definitely slow out here. we look live at the schuylkill expressway this afternoon and again the eastbound lanes giving us problems. we have a crash under 30th street station and that was one not as serious as the one this morning involving the motorcycle. that crash just cleared a few minutes ago. but there is an eastbound backlog coming away from the boulevard from this point at montgomery drive and south street. 40 minutes on the eastbound travel time, and should be 14 not 40 as you head eastbound toward philadelphia. speeds like 6 miles per hour. over on 95, 12 miles per hour. it's just normal volume slowing us down and bogging us down over there. farther north in bucks county construction at the newtown exit. only one of two lanes gets by there. a couple of accidents in south jersey, one on 295 in mount laurel on the shoulder slowing with speeds in the mid-30s there. runnemede a bad crash on the black horse pike, if you want to use the white horse pike no problems there. and after the dump truck crash, by the expressway by the convention center and the to stay through the upcoming weekend and a chance for much needed rain here as well. not over the weekend. as we take a look at the weather center live sky 6 hd overlooking camden from the sky 6 hd camera in society hill and you can see some trees in there. mixed in with the buildings and a lot of them are still green at this point. in fact, we have a very dry stretch as of late. this fall season going into the end of summer. we picked up less than a .10 inch of rain in nearly 3 weeks and what does that do to the tre trees? this is a repeat of last fall we got dry, and a repeat this year, the warmth has stalled the foliage and we saw a pop in the northwestern suburbs and we had the long cool stretch and wet stretch. that early color has basically fallen apart and they have browned and leaves have fallen off the trees. and the stressed trees, they are stressed that will lead to dull colors more than likely and the leaves look to drop quickly and not stay on the trees for very long. speaking of the fall foliage as we look at the map, it is peaking and high there in the adirondacks and northern maine and new hampshire. but locally here it is low at this point with fall foliage from the lehigh valley to the shore. but once you hit north of the lehigh tunnel it's moderate and see some color, dull color this coming weekend. we are warm, upper 70s to low 80s. allentown millville and dover is 83 degrees at the present hour. early on the clouds moved in and yes you see rain coming in from the west and light showers that are falling apart and there are a few here and there during the evening hours and warm muggy night and 66 degrees for center city. and future tracker 6 showing the best conssation of the showers to the north and west. and by tomorrow morning the sunshine is back and feel the heat and humidity as we round out the week tomorrow with sun and clouds and temperatures like today going back into the lower and middle 80s with that moderate humidity. as we look at the four day at 4:00 forecast. under partly sunny skies and the pick of the weekend is saturday and warm and tropically humid and 85 degrees, it's down right oppressive sunday and monday. 80 on sunday for the eagle a lot of clouds, and could bay shower or two. but most of the day looks to be dry and the best chance is columbus day 70 degrees with the remnant moisture from nate. church is a loathesome act and it happened in wilmington in the last couple of weeks in a historic location. the church's steeple is a historic building where st. john called home until four years ago. the congregation had dwindled but the building is getting a knew lease on life. a nonprofit called ministry for caring is rehabbing the entire three acre complex and creating homes for low income seniors but a shattering discovery. the bronze lectern in use since 1907 is stolen. it's seven feet tall and weighs hundreds of pound. >> it was the beautiful out spread wings of an eagle and made of trying to figure out what sparked a ranging fire in trenton. the action cam was along the unit block as flames billowed in the afternoon air and authorities say that the property was vacant at the time and the fire was under control in 30 minutes and officials are trying to determine the cause. >> a picture circling on social media is now under investigation by delaware state police and the caesar rodney school district, it shows the high school's mascot, the rider holding a piece of paper with a racial slur written on it. the district issued eye statement writ ebb in part that their mascot would be used in such a manner and it has zero tolerance for this behavior. anyone with this information can call delaware crime stoppers, at 1-800-tip-3333. now to the unfolding investigation into the deadliest shooting in modern american history. we learn that the killer may have targeted another american city before las vegas. that stephan paddock booked hotel rooms during the lal for rain in the beginning of next week . 80 in trenton and 81 philadelphia that is 10 to 11 degrees above normal for this time of year. 80 in wilmington and even upper 70s in the lehigh valley. and then factor in the due points sitting around 60 degrees and then it hits the 60 you say it feels a little humid outside and these numbers will go up to near 70 degrees on sunday and monday. as we take a look at sky 6 hd philadelphia international airport a lot of sun early in the day and the clouds have moved in and clouds coming through in parts of the evening hours and as we move forward again moving better and eastbound crash at 30th street that is long gone now, while we are here overnight they close the westbound lanes at 30th street and restrictions start at 9:00 and closures start at 11:00 and they will do this a bunch of the nights tonight too. and speeds of 10 miles per hour around penn's landing and farther north in bucks county our mid-day work zone has cleared out and both lanes are open there. lets update you on construction zones we are getting used to this one in franconia, the cow path road bridge over perkiomen bridge. and chester county they reopened the township road bridge over the route 1 oxford bypass, go ahead and use that again. but the work continues on the bypass itself. over in winslow, we are watching a bad crash along cross keys road at old bridge avenue but the one in glendora has cleared out by doll house tattoo parlor, a favorite of brian taff's. >> that is why i have to wear the collar up here. >> he nailed you. got you. all right matt forecast. for the summer weather will continue to hang around. as we take a look at the weather center right now live on sky 6. the cloud cover moved in and a lot of sun on the front end of the day today. no precipitation in the cloud cover as of right now. but we could see a couple of showers breaking the way through the region during the evening hours. as we look at stormtracker 6 live double scan we look to the west and you do see reds and oranges in there. there are no thunderstorms but most of this is falling apart and as the boundary again comes close by, we could see a shower or two in parts of the region and north and west with of philadelphia between 7:00 and 10:00 tonight. it could spritz or so here and there. as we look at the really warm numbers, 81 right now in philadelphia and 80 in trenton and 80 in wilmington for allentown and reading and 83 in dover and warm there as well with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. there is the front around he interstate 80 and throwing clouds our way and a batch of rain and if you watch the radar in the evening and overnight hours, most of this kind of evaporates. as we get into 9:00, 10:00, everything is pretty much gone. here is future tracker 6 at 8:30, the best chances north and west of the city to see the light showers, they are gone by midnight and as we wake up here in the morning, 7:30 a.m. a mixture of sun and clouds and a dry start to friday and a dry send to friday. the front is still close by there are clouds and sun at times and staying warm and 82 degrees and the humidity is about where it is today.
