It happened around 4 00 this morning on s street that, is near roosevelt boulevard. Police tell us the motorcycle collided with a car. Were working to find out more about other injuries in this case. And also an update. Well keep you posted. Also new from overnight, police are looking into a deadly shooting at a playground in philadelphias graves ferry neighborhood. Nbc 10 was on 30th street where a man was shot in the head and killed just after 2 00 this morning. Investigators say they found drugs at the scene. Philadelphia police have a lead in this deadly shooting on honey park. A man was shot several times before midnight. Homicide detectives say a witness saw somebody running from the scene then taking off in a gold colored van. This morning, police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman at a philadelphia golf course. Nbc 10s jesse gary is there. What is the latest on this investigation . Yesterday when she says a man walking in the opposite direction passed her. The attacker came from behind and pulled her into the golf course and sexually assaulted her. Some of the area residents were walking through or near this golf course in the wee hours of the morning can be dangerous. We came out under the bridge. They drink all the time. I heard plenty of stories of people getting raped and people getting beat up robbed. Investigators have a vague description of the attacker short, close cropped hair clean shaven, white tshirt. They want anyone with any information, maybe they saw something around here early in the wee hours of the Morning Saturday to give them a call either the special victims or the 19th police district. In northeast pennsylvania Authorities Say a woman who had been stabbed blamed her boyfriend just before dying. This happened in Monroe County thursday. Darren morales is charged with criminal homicide in the death of the victim. He told police that figueroa had picked up a kitchen knife during a fight and cut her own throat. But later he acknowledged he told a neighbor trying to provide first aid that he was responsible. From our jersey shore bureau, several people are recovering from minor injuries after a boat accident. The auto foot boat ran aground on Long Beach Island in ocean county. Coast guard sent a photo of rescuers and the boat that bottomed out. Four of the 13 people onboard that were jolted in the crash ended up in the hospital. One of them had to be airlifted by chopper. Sky force 10 was over the area. We told you about boats running aground in this area earlier this year because the sand bars popping up. Boaters say the coast guard rearranges the markers in the bay as conditions change. But people still need to be alert. Take your time. You have to be careful. If youre not careful, you have issues. Other boaters say excess sand dumped by the sea into the inlet needs to be dredged so boaters can navigate freely. On the delaware river, a mother and daughter from new jersey drown while kayaking on friday night. Authorities in new jersey say the victims kayaks overturned just north of bold island state park. After receiving a distress call around 8 15 in the evening on friday rescuers found the bodies of 45yearold doris rake and her 19yearold daughter. Officials say the victims were experienced kayakers but were not wearing lifejackets. Today the Naacp Convention continues in philadelphia and mayor Michael Nutter will deliver the opening remarks this morning. Yesterday the naacp lifted its economic boycott of South Carolina. So this is philadelphias moment of action to be part of the National Week of action to remember those lives but also to defend our own communities from the same fate. The demonstrators also want officials to hold emergency responsive workshops in communities where oil trains roll through. Several of philadelphias Fallen Heroes now have a rolling tribute.
