Following a year of student-led protests and rallies calling for racial justice in the classroom, school names that better represent their peers, mental health resources and updated curriculum, a local college will host its annual summer camp to help those young leaders hone in on their demands. Registration for the University of North Florida's Bridges Summer Camp — a free online summer camp for young people who want to explore racial equity, social justice and activist perspectives — closes Friday, but may be extended based on interest. The camp prides itself as a way to prepare student leaders to fight racism and oppression.
